API 653 Inspector
NATION WIDE APPLICATIONS WANTED: Set up crew(s), mobilize equipment and materials to meet budget and schedule requirements. Oversee daily operations, quality control and activities as defined in the scope of work for both government facilities and industrial sites. Inform client representative on a daily activates through communications and/or daily reports. Oversee subcontractor(s) and order materials as needed and work close with CAPEâ€™ s assigned project manager to meet overall budget, schedule and client requirements.
3 years of experience supervising activities and personnel on constructions sites to include mechanical and piping installation, repairs and testing. Must be knowledgeable in performing hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing and have the technical knowledge and ability to learn additional technical based concepts related to aviation and mechanical repairs and installations. Must be able to work efficiently with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
High School Diploma or GED or demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication with the fundamental knowledge of mathematics demonstrated by the ability to solve a variety of problems that can be modeled or solved by quantitative means. Ability to understand and interpret daily welding requirements under API 1104, ASME B31.3 and ASME Section IX. Valid Driverâ€™ s License with acceptable MVR required, 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Training and TWIC Card preferred. Pipe welding procedures and/or knowledge preferred.
Physically capable to work outdoors in hot and/or cold temperatures. Good hearing and sight. Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment drug/background screens and CAPE physical examination and have the ability to use safety equipment as required. Candidates may be required to maintain a valid U.S. passport for travel internationally for short-term and potential long-term assignments. Must have U.S. Citizenship, ability to obtain clearance for military base access.
