Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

 

The successful candidate will support the  Southern California Region  of Ethos Energy Field Services, and will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Job Description
  • Manages the assigned area from a Sales & Marketing standpoint, maximizing coverage and opportunities within the region
  • Expected to travel approximately 50% - 75% of the time to properly cover assigned region
  • Maintains regular customer contact via phone, e-mail and personal contact, etc.
  • Entertains customers, utilizing good judgment in spending EEFS funds
  • Familiarizes himself/herself with all services offered by EE
  • Submits timely (weekly/monthly/as necessary) trip reports to Management
  • Coordinates and cooperates with the EE  sales team, including use of the EE CRM/Sales Force system
  • Participates in EE Sales conference calls and meetings
  • Submits timely expense reports, per EEFS procedures
  • Reports on general and specific market climate with assigned accounts and region
  • Reports on immediate competitive situations
  • Conducts all business matters in a professional manner
  • Provides follow up on quotations submitted within assigned region
  • Assists in collection of A/R when requested
  • Attends trade shows as assigned
  • Maintain positive and constructive relationship with the EEFS Operations group as well as all EE divisions
  • Subject to additional duties and reporting as assigned

Experience
  • Extensive experience selling rotating/reciprocating machinery services and products in the Oil, Gas, Energy & Industrial markets for Field and Shop Services
  • Understanding of product, product management requirements, term maintenance agreements, selling approaches, Company business structures and its associated products & offerings for Field and Shop Services

Qualifications
  • RSM should be proficient in all levels of the sales process – prospecting, strategy development, quoting, negotiating, and closing an opportunity
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient or above average computer skills
  • Sales experience with rotating/reciprocating machinery services and products in in the Oil, Gas, Energy & Industrial markets for Field and Shop Services is desirable; extensive knowledge of Microsoft software, Project Management software and CRM Software.
