Job Description
Rental Coordinator Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Rental Coordinator is to lead all aspects of the equipment rental optimization effort to drive value across the assigned Business Units. The successful candidate will be able to effectively build relationships with all functions across the organization to drive rental excellence and serve as the subject matter expert related to functional decision making. Rental Coordinator will have continuous communication with Supplier and end-users.
Responsibilities May Include
• Acting as the Business Unit Single Point of Contact for rental equipment provisions
• Executing all rental requests, exchanges and off-rents via company and supplier systems
• Ensuring contractual rates and terms are executed per agreements
• Organize and maintain rental agreements to ensure correct cost allocations are in place
• Coordinating equipment sharing and optimization opportunities with field personnel
• Monitoring and managing equipment utilization and past due/inactive equipment
• Analyzing cost trends and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to provide recommendations for Buy vs. Rent opportunities
• Providing administrative support to resolve outstanding invoicing issues
• Adhering to Procurement Policy in the provision of rental equipment
• Ensuring compliance with Procurement Approved Supplier List
Position Requirements
Basic/Required:
• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• 1 or more years of experience with rental equipment
• 1 or more years of industry experience in the Midstream, Refining, Commercial and/or Marketing sectors
Preferred:
• 3 or more years of experience with rental equipment
• 3 or more years of industry experience in the Midstream, Refining, Commercial and/or Marketing sectors
• Bachelor’s degree and/or strong financial acumen
• Thinks strategically and has a general interest mindset
