LEAD BURNER & CONTROLS TEST TECHNICIAN

Our Client states, as part of our ongoing commitment to supply the safest and most reliable boiler room equipment in the industry and to exceed our customers expectations, is seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Lead Burner & Controls Test Technician.
We want someone with experience that is excited about sending out products that are going to be easy to start up because we’ve already worked out the “bugs” that often cause delays when commissioning new equipment.   Additionally, we want someone who wants to be a part of a culture where we help grow people to their fullest potential both within the walls of our facility and in life… a culture where people matter as individuals and as a result the team is stronger, our time at work is more enjoyable, and company goals are achieved.

Experience desired:
  • Minimum of 5 years of as a technician performing startups and troubleshooting of forced draft burners on commercial and/or industrial boilers.
  • Hands on experience working with multiple forced draft burner brands and models.
  • Hands on experience with multiple forced draft burner control systems and related equipment.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to troubleshoot forced draft burners, boilers, and related controls and perform corrective actions as needed.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to jump in when needed to complete jobs to meet production goals. 
  • Desire to cultivate a culture that grows people to their fullest potential.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Check in of burners and related controls when they are delivered to the company.
  • In house testing of boilers, burners, and related controls, recording data, and reporting any issues as directed.
  • Adjustment of burners and controls to meet performance expectations.
  • Troubleshooting and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Test other ancillary boiler room equipment as needed.
  • Care and maintenance of test equipment.
  • Assist production to help ensure completion of equipment as needed.
  • Assist with training of personnel.
Hours: M-Th 6am-4:30p Fri if needed (no call, no weekends)
Possible travel 2-3 times per year if needed
