Because we are an Engineered To Order provider of process equipment, you’ll enjoy the ability to work on a number of different projects that vary in scope, design, and function. As our Process Plant Project Manager, you will lead a project team to execute all engineering and design deliverables for our various natural gas processing plant projects. 

Key Contributions:
  • Promote repeat customer business via consistent contact and relationship from proposal to project execution
  • Review customer inquiry documents, suggest GasTech proposal strategy, and review the strategy with Business Development and the Chief Technology Officer
  • Develop proposal schedules
  • Review Plot Plans, P&ID’s, and other scope defining documents to suggest optimization strategies to give a competitive commercial and execution edge
  • Support preparation of, or prepare cost estimates as required to support budgetary cost estimates and proposals
  • Develop  technical and commercial proposal obtaining input from various departments
  • Support Business Development in presenting technical and commercial details to potential clients
  • Respond to client questions regarding the proposal
  • Management of overall project execution from order to start-up
  • Through the input of others, compile information to develop/manage labor performance, project costs, and schedules
  • Develop, supervise, and approve the issue of all project documents
  • Coordinate with others as the point of customer contact throughout the project
  • Continuously review the project for quality, accuracy, and safety

Requirements
  • A master’s degree in Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or commensurate experience is required.
  • Strong and demonstrable skills in the following areas are required:
    • Leadership (internal and external), project management, and interpersonal communication
    • Time management
    • Customer negotiation
    • Positive customer relationships
  • Excellent technical proficiency with Chemical and/or Mechanical Engineering software programs and technical tools, as well as advanced level skills with Microsoft Office, are required. 
  • The ability to prioritize workload to meet due dates is required. 
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, while remaining creative and innovative, is required. 
  • The ability to effectively communicate both process and equipment concepts to both internal and external customers is required. 
  • A registered Professional Engineering license, field experience, and experience in an ISO 9000 environment is preferred but not required.
